Chittenden Co. Base Map

Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission was included in the ESRI Community Basemap development group. We contributed to the ongoing development and refinement of the Communtiy Basemap for Chittenden County. The final product was submitted to ESRI for inclusion in the ArcGIS Online Community Map. My contributions include heads up digitizing of building footprints, creation of sidewalk data, and correction of miscellaneous data tables.

VOBCIT -> VTCulverts.org Transition

Two large, independent culvert maintenance and condition datasets were being maintained in Vermont. Various state agencies came together to consolidate the data into one state-wide cohesive system. My contributions include instituting a geographic unique ID system in order to ensure spatially unique data points. I was also responsible for on-going quality assurance/quality control throughout the consolidation to ensure correct data with minimal redundancy.

Chittenden Co. Street Maps

Various departments throughout Chittenden County requested up-to-date street maps for each of the towns in Chittenden County. Clients include Department of Public Works, fire departments, and police departments throughout Chittenden County. Road maps were created in two sizes (11 x 17 and 34 x 44). The smaller size maps are intended to be carried in hand by emergency departments. The larger size maps are intended to be hung on the wall for department-wide reference.

Bike and Pedestrian Count Locations

Created an ArcGIS Online map of all bike and pedestrian count locations collected, in process, and projected for future collection. Created custom pop-up with specific information pertinent to each count location. Map is critical in determining future count locations and county land use/shared pathway planning.
